The Bills Go 4-0

This week my Grampa Ed had to go to Buffalo for business, and he brought me back my very own Buffalo Bills jersey. He also got me a bib to go with my jersey and a Bills football that plays the fight song.

Here I am all decked out for the game, watching the pre-game show and playing with my new football. Go Bills!

Sometimes during the game, I don't know if I should look at the TV or my crazy dad. In both of these pictures, I am clearly more interested and amused by my dad's antics than the Buffalo Bills!

In the end, the Bills won, making them UNDEFEATED so far this season. It's a great year to be a Buffalo Bills fan!

Up, Up, and Down

Usually, when I'm on my tummy, I look like a little fish. I rarely push up with my arms and usually balance on my stomach with my arms and legs flailing about.
But tonight, I decided to surprise my mom and dad attempt to crawl.
Push, push, push....
And up I go!

Once I was up, I really didn't know what to do.

Hey mom, any suggestions here? Put down that camera and help me get this ball.

After a few minutes (and no help from my mom), I decided to make a diving play for the ball. Got it!!

A Fun Day in the Sun

Today was a beautiful day in Syracuse, so my mom and I decided to enjoy the nice weather and go to Ryder Park.

At first, I wasn't so sure about this whole swinging thing. But after a little while, I got the hang of it and had a blast. I was all smiles!

Then, when dad got home from work, we went on a family walk...but this time, without all of those blankets. Yup, that's right, I got to let my toes hang out and put my bare feet up on the dash board. It felt like summer all over again!

As we were walking through the neighborhood, my dad spotted one of the construction trucks and thought it would be a good idea to hop on and go for a ride. Just kidding...we didn't actually go anywhere, but it was really cool to sit inside and look around.

And just when I thought my day couldn't get any better, my Aunt Heather shows up for dinner!

We had a great time and I just couldn't stop laughing. Thanks Aunt Heather for cracking me up ALL night long!

Sea of fun

Today, I went over to my friend, Jack's house for a play date. We had tons of fun playing in his boat filled with balls.

Look, we both caught fish!

Thanks, Jack, for having me over to your fun playland. I can't wait to get together again.

Are You Ready for Some Football?!?

Today, dad and I got ready for the Bills game by blowing up the inflatable linebacker for our front yard. So far this season, the Bills are undefeated, and we wanted to make sure to help in any way we could.

Go Bills!

Here I am with "the guys" during the first quarter of the game.

Things started off good and I was all smiles... at first.

It didn't take long, though, before things started going downhill....fast!

"Flag...what do you mean, flag?!!!?"

Three quarters later, things just kept going from bad to worse.
I decided to change my "spot" and sit back on the couch with the boys to help the Bills mount a comeback. First, I just played with my book, but then I started patting the football for good luck.

Finally, in the last quarter, the Bills started playing like a Superbowl-bound team. Here I am laughing at my dad (he was going crazy during the last few minutes of the game.

We were one happy family after the game. Now the Bills are 3-0 (first time since 1992).

Go BILLS!

To the Apple Farm

I was all ready to go to the SU football game today, but then dad and mom threw me a curve ball.
Apple picking? We're going apple picking?

So me, my Aunt Heather, mom and dad all piled into the jeep and drove to Beak and Skiff Apple Farms.

It was a perfect day to pick apples...not too hot and not too cold. Mom had some trouble taking pictures of me because I was too busy taking in all of the sights and the sounds of the apple farm to pose for pictures. See what I mean!

We got to ride on a big tractor trailer, which drove us through the apple orchard. It was a fun ride, but my dad thought that I was going to fall off of his lap, so into the baby carrier I went. Here I am picking apples....no wait, I mean picking leaves.

Ah yes, here are the apples. Can I eat one of those???

And of course, into my mouth it went. Yum!

Brrrr....It's Getting Cold

After dinner, I always go for a walk with my mom and dad. The cold weather at night hasn't stopped us yet...they just bundle me up and I'm good to go!

Even with a million blankets over me, I still manage to ride in style with my feet up on the dashboard.

When we get home, I get to take a nice warm bath and play with my toys.

Does life get any better than this?

High Hopes

My dad, the eternal optimist, taught me at a very early age that no matter how bad your team is, you always have to keep the hope alive and believe in them in your heart. So even though Syracuse has only won 7 games in the last few years, we went into today's game with high hopes.

Of course, it was a blow out as everyone predicted. So, needless to say, I put my Bills gear on and started preparing for tomorrow's game. Go BILLS!

Mango?

So I was out to lunch the other day with my buddies and we were talking, of course, about food. Somehow it came up in conversation that I don't really like eating fruit, and Tate was all like, "Dude, you don't like fruit?!"

Jack couldn't believe it either, and that's when he told me about mangos.

He was like, "You gotta try mangos, Chase...mangos are where it's at."

So, when mom and I were at the store, we bought a mango to try out. Well, by the look on my face in this picture, you can probably tell that I didn't really like the mango too much.

YUCK!
"I think I'll just eat my bib, instead."

Thanks Tate and Jack for trying to help me out - I appreciate the advice, but I think I'll stick to my veggies for now. "Hey ma, bring on those sweet potatoes."

Happy Birthday, Mom

Yesterday we celebrated my mom's 29th birthday! Everyone came over for the party, which was lots of fun. Dad thought it would be funny to put all 29 candles on the cake - he didn't think that mom could blow out all of those candles. So, she called me in for reinforcement, and we took care of business!

We all had to wear birthday hats, and my mom got to wear the "special birthday crown."

Yum, that cake looks good. Can I get a piece?

Well...no cake, but at least I got a cookie to suck on! Happy Birthday, mom!
