To celebrate the end of the school year, my mom and Aunt Jen took me to the zoo today. We had tons of fun looking at all of the animals.
Even though the sign said, "Careful, I bite fingers," that didn't stop me from wanting to touch the donkey.
But the penguins were definitely my favorite....

A Day at the Lake
In the morning, it looked like it was going to be a really nice day, so we packed our things and headed to the lake. A little while after we got there, the clouds rolled in and the wind started to pick up...rain was definitely on the way.
Of course, that didn't stop me from playing on the dock and taking a dip in the water. I really wanted to get right in, but my dad would only let me go so far.
Since no one else wanted to get in the water with me, my Grandma B and dad set up my water table. It was the first time I ever played in the water table, and I had a BLAST! My favorite thing to do was fill up the bucket and dump water all over myself.

Lovin' Life and Hangin' with My Pals
We've had lots of visitors lately, and it always puts a smile on my face to see my friends. Here I am playing with William and Darien. "Come on in, guys! Let's play...."
Bubbles are just about my favorite thing these days, so I was really excited when Madelyn came over, and we played with the bubbles together.

In May, my Aunt Jackie got back from Spain (boy was I happy to see her). We've been spending lots of quality time together since she got back...and I couldn't be happier.
And, of course, here I am with Poppy. He sold his house in Connecticut and moved to Syracuse, so I get to see him all of the time now. We have breakfast together every Saturday and Sunday morning, and he is a HUGE baseball fan (just like me).
Bob came over for dinner one night, and we were having a contest to see who could make the silliest face. I think that I won....
"Getting Ready for School."
And speaking of the boys, here we all are eating dinner together while our parents laugh and take pictures. It's probably hard to tell, but we're having our very own pizza party. It's been a while since the four of us have been all together, so you may not recognize everyone (from left to right: Anthony, Jack, me, and Tate).
My mom says that the difference between boys and girls is so apparent, and she sees it every time that Madelyn and I are together. Since most of my friends are boys, I am used to constantly being on the go. Madelyn loves to read, color pictures, and put together puzzles. Now that I've been playing with Madelyn more and more, I am starting to watch her play and follow along. Here she is showing me how to put together the puzzle.
