Lots To Be Thankful for
This Thanksgiving, we have a lot to be thankful for, especially my little brother, Tyler. Since this was Tyler's first Thanksgiving, I knew I had to show him the ropes and make everything extra special for him.
The whole family gathered at Nani and G's house for Thanksgiving dinner, and the party started with some delicious appetizers. Then, we went in the backyard for the 3rd Annual Turkey Shoot. Even though Tyler and I couldn't participate, we had fun cheering for everyone!
See what I mean about showing Tyler the ropes....obviously, he gets his dance moves from me!
The Turkey Shoot was a lot of fun, and Grampa Eddie and G shared the victory this year.
And, of course, Thanksgiving wouldn't be complete without watching football. Here is Tyler just hanging with "the boys" (Uncle Teddy and his friend, Jon) and watching the big game.

Unfortunately for Tyler, he was too little to eat turkey, stuffing, and mashed potatoes this year. At least he doesn't know what his is missing!
Tyler sat in his bouncy seat while we ate dinner, and he was giving us lots of smiles!
Thanksgiving was also G's birthday this year, so before breaking out the pumpkin pie and apple crisp, we sang, "Happy Birthday," and ate ice cream cake. Birthday parties are just about my favorite thing in the world, so to have a birthday party on Thanksgiving was just "icing on the cake."
I absolutely loved singing, "Happy Birthday," and blowing out the candle on G's cake!!!!
I was so excited about eating the cake that I couldn't wait until Nani cut it. Instead, I went head first (or should I say, "mouth first") right into the side of the cake. Yummy!

This Thanksgiving was a lot of fun....as I looked around the dinner table, I was so happy to be surrounded by the people I love so much. I know that I'm a lucky little guy and I have so much to be thankful for.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and had fun celebrating with their families and friends. Happy Turkey Day to everyone!

3rd Annual Turkey Shoot
For the 3rd year in a row, the "grown-ups" participated in the Lewandowski/Dera Thanksgiving Turkey Shoot! Luckily, the weather was nice, so we all got to enjoy some time outside before the big feast!
The Turkey Shoot was a lot of fun to watch. Although I didn't get to partake in the competition, I had a good time clapping and cheering everyone on.
Of course, I was rooting for my mom (reigning champion from last year), but when she was knocked out in the first round, I decided I better cheer for my dad so that we could keep the trophy at our house! Here I am giving dad "knuckles" for good luck!
"Go Dad!"

The turkey shoot ended up in a "shoot-off" between G and my Grampa Eddie. They were so good at hitting the turkey targets that I had to go and inspect them myself to make sure that no one was cheating.
After several rounds, we had to call it a tie because the sun was going down and dinner was ready. Here we all are after the competition....G and Eddie decided to share the trophy this year! Watch out next year, though....my mom said that she is going to practice in the off-season so that she can reclaim the turkey trophy!
Happy Thanksgiving
Wishing everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving filled with family, friends, laughter... and of course, delicious food!
Here's a picture from our 3rd Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Shoot - lots more Thanksgiving pictures to come!!

Oldies But Goodies
Both of my Grandmas saved toys from when my mom and dad were little. It's a good thing that they saved them because I have been having so much fun playing with my new "old" toys.
I'm really into cars and trucks lately, so you can imagine how excited I was when Grandma B brought over my dad's old Hotwheels stuff! It's definitely my favorite thing to play with these days.
I've also been playing with my Uncle Ted's cabbage patch doll from when he was a little boy!
I always like to feed him (and I even pretend burp him just like mom and dad do with Tyler)!
Although my toys are the best, I still love to wrestle with my mom and dad. Guess who always wins???
I can't wait until Tyler is big enough to play with me. Right now, he's into rattles and hanging out in his swing. Here he is with baseball rattles on his hands. Silly Nani....they're supposed to go on his feet!
