Water Fun

We have been spending a lot of time outside, running through the sprinkler and splashing in the baby pool!

I am not sure who loves it more....me or Tyler!

Tyler watches me from the pool as I run around and around the sprinkler until I work up enough courage to put my head right in the water.

Then I run toward the pool and jump in, creating lots of waves and splashes in the little pool (which Tyler loves). He just laughs and laughs.

Of course, it's not a day in the pool without mom spiking up my hair for a picture. It's pretty much become a tradition.

What a fun day in the backyard!

That face is saying, "What do you mean we have to go inside??!!!???"

Terrible 2s

Yup, they've hit...the terrible 2s. Tantrums, whining, and full-blown meltdowns...
Thanks goodness most of the time, I am a sweet, loving, and very caring little boy! And when I am not, it's a good thing I know how to turn on the charm.

Happy 4th of July

We spent the 3rd and 4th of July at camp. The weather was picture perfect, and we had an AMAZING time! Grandma and Grandpa Eddie made everything so special...the backyard was transformed into a mini-amusement park for kids complete with 2 swimming pools, a slide, a sandbox, water tables, tents, and lots of "binka-boos" (aka - presents from Grandma).

The Smith family joined us for the weekend, and I finally got to meet my 2nd cousin, Gabe, (we are almost the same age....just a few weeks apart). We had lots of fun crawling around and exploring everything! Here we are hangin' with our dads!

Chase was very excited because he got to see Maggie again (she's 3 years old now), and they played together ALL day long. Chase's favorite thing to do was definitely play in the sandbox, and Maggie spent a lot of time in the pool. But the best part of the day was watching Chase and Maggie run around the backyard squirting each other with water. It was a riot!

After running around most of the day, Chase and Maggie got to go on a boat ride. The life jacket didn't seem to bother Chase as much this year.

Chase and mommy loved the boat ride (even though it might not look like it by the expression on Chase's face).

See what I mean about the weather being "picture perfect." It was absolutely gorgeous on the water.

Thanks to the Smith family for visiting - it was so much fun hanging out with everyone. Can't wait to see you all again.

Happy 4th of July!!!

Look Mom

Chase: "Look mommy, I got a snail!"
Mom: "That's awesome, Chase. Lets go wash your hands."

Guess mom needs to get used to having 2 boys who like to play in the dirt!!!

Some Pictures from Father's Day

On Father's Day, Tyler and I got to wear our special t-shirts that we got from the Polish Festival. I'm not sure if you can see it in the pictures, but my shirt says, "I love my Dziadzia" and Tyler's shirt says, "Dziadzia's little buddy."

Dziadzia is Polish for "grandfather," so we proudly wore our t-shirts when Grandpa Eddie and G came over for our special Father's Day BBQ.

We had lots of fun hanging out with the whole family on such an important and special day. Tyler and I know how lucky we are to have such wonderful grandparents who live right around the corner. We get to do lots of fun things with them, and we have such a close and loving relationship! They are the BEST!!!

Before everyone came over for dinner, we spent time with daddy...and we even helped him open his Father's Day presents. He went golfing in the morning, and mommy helped us shop, make cards, and get him his favorite cookie cake for dessert! We wanted to make the day very special for him because he is the BEST dad in the world!

We are very lucky to have such a kind, caring, loving, SILLY and CRAZY dad!

We LOVE you!

In the Water Table

Today was 80 degrees and sunny - way too hot to watch my big brother, Chase, splash around in the water table.

Since I'm too young to stand and play at the table, mom just put me right in!!! And of course, Chase capitalized on the opportunity to pour water over my head. I loved every minute of it (as you can tell by the smile on my face).

What a fun day!
