Happy Memorial Day

It was a picture perfect day in Syracuse, so we headed to the lake for a Memorial Day BBQ.

The kids were all smiles! They had so much fun running around, swimming, playing in the sand, and going on multiple boat rides.

I love this picture of Chase - laughing hysterically with Grandma!

Searching for buried treasure in the pirate ship....

The Dera's homemade water slide....perfect! The boys had a blast sliding into the pool.

Tyler was very patient while we tried to get his life jacket on....time for a boat ride.

First, they went on the little boat, and Chase "tried" to use the oars.

Luckily, dad was there to pull them along....

The lake was so calm...it was the perfect day to take a ride on the big boat.

Tyler LOVED every minute of the boat ride. He sat in the front, saying "wheeeeeee" and clapping his hands.

Chase wasn't so enthusiastic about the boat ride. Luckily, grandma was there to give him lots of love and snuggles!

We hope your Memorial Day was full of laughter and fun!

Thanks to Grandma and Grampa Ed for a beautiful day at the lake. We had such a great time and can't wait to come back and do it all over again.

Happy Memorial Day!

Take Me Out to the Ballgame

I love this picture of Matt, Chase, and Madelyn sitting on the bleachers watching Ryan's play-off game against Chittenango. Unfortunately, the JD baseball team lost by 1 run in the last inning. Although it was a tough way to end the season, we had a great time at the game. The kids had a blast running around the field and watching the baseball players. We had a delicious picnic dinner complete with cupcakes from sweet endings. The weather was gorgeous, and it was the perfect night (except, of course, for the loss)!!!

Deep Belly Laugh

There is nothing more beautiful than seeing your children laugh....especially when the laugh is so pure and genuine.

Happy Mother's Day

Today we celebrated Mother's Day by driving to Cazenovia for a delicious Sunday brunch at the Linklean House. It was great to have the family together...unfortunately, Jackie was in Buffalo, and she was definitely missed.

After brunch, we went home and enjoyed the beautiful day - I remember last Mother's Day there was snow on the ground, so the weather was an obvious improvement.

The boys had a great time running around outside, and I had lots of fun watching them play!

I feel very blessed to have such a wonderful family. Motherhood has been such an incredible journey so far, and it's days like today that remind me of the things that are truly important in life.

Thanks to my incredible family for making the day so special for me. I love you guys!!!!!!
